Salvelox Single Solution Lenses has a combination of agents that clean flexible contact lenses, disinfect, and effectively remove proteins (responsible for lens fogging), making the lenses more comfortable for the eyes for a longer period of time.
Sterile and isotonic aqueous solution:
- Polihexanide: Disinfectant and highly effective biocidal preservative that keeps the lenses free from bacteria or germs.
- Poloxamer: Anti-adherent cleaning agent that removes proteins, dirt, and residue.
- Hypermellose: Lubricant that forms a film on the lens. It retains moisture, prevents dryness, and lubricates the lenses for greater eye comfort over a longer period of time.
- Sodium phosphate buffer: Provides a buffering effect to the pH of the single solution and enhances the action of electrolytes to increase compatibility.
